Over the past 10 years BGI has become a leader in investigations and fingerprinting in West Michigan. To continue these services we were honored to bring BGI into Raven Strategic Group in November of 2024. What exactly does this mean?
BGI continues to serve clients in a variety of ways, but it also extends the enhanced services of Raven to these clients. Raven is a boutique, bespoke risk management firm with global capabilities. We’ve operated not only in the US, but Europe, Asia, India and beyond. Pairing BGI and Raven, we are able to partner the strengths of the two organizations to offer a more comprehensive suite of services to clients near and far. Make no mistake, both organizations started with a drive for customer satisfaction and that remains the same. Many of the guiding principles for both BGI and Raven were so similar that the merger of the two made perfect sense.
Under the combined operations clients can benefit from a variety of risk management and investigative services.

BGI was built on decades of law enforcement experience, with a commitment to customer service and quality investigations. For 10 years Chris, BGI’s founder, built a sterling reputation for professional investigations, background investigations and fingerprinting services in and around West Michigan. In November of 2024, BGI was acquired by Raven Strategic Group with the plans of continuing Chris’ work and merging BGI’s portfolio into Raven’s global risk management firm. Together the partnership between the two brands brings unparalleled experience, knowledge and networking to provide risk management, protective and investigative services to a variety of clients around the world. BGI will continue to provide Live Scan fingerprinting services in West Michigan and remains one of the only licensed agencies to submit out-of-state prints to the State of Michigan.
