Our Process​


  • Call or email BGI and advise them of your particular needs.
  • BGI will send you the appropriate paperwork to begin the investigative background process. 
  • If you are an attorney working under a retainer, BGI will require much less paperwork.​

If you are a plaintiff or an attorney, there is no more cost effective manner to obtain background information or conduct such research than to outsource to BGI. Our investigators are all current or former law enforcement officers with years of experience.

If you are part of a large firm or a private attorney and you need to increase working capacity to accommodate client requests, let BGI help you do the work of two.

The Trained Eye


There is no way to accurately state the benefits of a trained eye looking at what you have. A seasoned veteran can spot things about a particular document or statement that would not be readily evident to someone who had not spent 25 years as a law enforcement officer.​

Witness Interviews


​BGI is already working with local attorneys conducting investigative interviews of witnesses. We have years of experience in conducting in depth interview. We will prepare a list of interview questions prior to the interview which can be made available to the client for approval. 


All interviews are recorder and a digital file is saved and forwarded to the client.

The client typically receives a complete written report and digital file within 3 business days.


This is delayed only when it is necessary to request original reports through FOIA. BGI will also request certified copies of deeds and business filings.
